Stereotypes -_-

Every Anti-Sonic thing I read will most likely bring up the fan base. To me it just seems like an unoriginal argument because every fan base will have its brats (if you want to call them that haha) But not everyone in the fan base is like that actually I've came across mature people who've turned to Sonic for a comfort hobby if bad stuff is happening in their life. I know everyone's entitled to their opinion and I and many people respect that however some people who rant about Sonic don't seem to respect it themselves even though they'll add it at the end of their argument. Many times I've seen these people get defensive when someone will merely calmly comment their views, disagreeing with their opinion. It just annoys me because it's so hypocritical and condescending saying that Sonic fan brats comment in rage and immaturity and when that maybe true, when sensible fans share THEIR opinions on a rant they will be 'attacked' with stubborn comments. It's just aggravating and I don't think anyone's really pointed out that even the 'anti-sonic' fan base has a few immature brats in it.

Also people who say, "Sonic The Hedgehog is rubbish, just look at Sonic '06" That was 7 years ago A LOT of progress has been made since then, let it go. Clinging onto that is a rubbish argument considering it really outdated and the current Sonic The Hedgehog story lines in games have very little similarity in them. What I think is that game was actually a breaking point for the Sonic franchise, Sega now for sure has the knowledge NOT to try anything like that again and not to rush games in the future. Yes it would be nice for Sega to know that before making it but now they have experienced a low point which when handled properly could turn into a blessing. In the end it's all experience for Sega and people have to forget comparing new games with Sonic '06.
